The body requires proteins for development. Therefore, proteins are all the more essential for growing kids. The World Health Organization says that 19g of protein must be given daily to kids aged between 4 and 8. The consumption increases to 34g in kids aged between 9 and 13. So, here are some protein-rich snacks for kids that you can add to their diet.
1. Nuts
One of the most protein-rich snacks for kids include nuts such as peanuts, almonds, and pistachios. Besides, seeds such as flaxseeds are loaded with proteins and can be extremely healthy for kids. To make it enjoyable, take a box of nuts and sprinkle some roasted seeds on them. Alternatively, you can add a peanut butter toast to your kid’s meal plan. Almond milk is another option loaded with proteins, and your kids will love to have it.
2. Yogurt
Yogurt contains proteins and is also loaded with calcium, which is essential for the bone health of kids. In some yogurts, you will also find live bacteria, which is good for the child’s overall digestive health. Usually, you will find that most yogurts made for kids will contain sugar in high quantities. Therefore, make sure that you pick full-fat and plain yogurt. To add some sweet flavor to it, include some fresh fruits or a dash of honey to it. However, ensure the honey is not given to infants below 12 months. They are more susceptible to a severe infection known as botulism.

4. Soybeans
